Antoinette Fiumos is a Five Element Acupuncturist in both the states of Maryland and Florida as well as a Nutritionist. Antoinette received two Bachelor's degrees, one in Nutrition Science from the University of California, Davis and another from the University of Maryland, College Park in Science Education / Magna Cum Laude. She received a Master's degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, Maryland, now known as Maryland University of Integrative Health, in Laurel, Maryland. She is nationally board certified (NCCAOM) and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture Physician in Florida and a Licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland (U0664).

Her early career included positions both in federal and state government agencies as well as in private industry and public education.

Antoinette brings over 25 years of experience to her private practice where she combines her two areas of expertise: Nutrition and Traditional Five-Element Acupuncture. Antoinette's philosophy and approach is one of a holistic nature which combines her knowledge of biochemical and energetic imbalances with her skills as a coach and teacher.

Antoinette's work and skills are particularly useful for those who suffer with the physical and emotional pains caused by a "disordered" relationship with food, substances, time, and energy. Her philosophy of treatment is grounded in the knowledge that the way we relate to food and other substances are seldom different than the way we relate to other relationships and aspects of our life.

Working with Antoinette, Lisa Ricciuti manages the practice working part-time from her home office. Lisa makes sure that all inquiries about the practice are responded to in a timely manner and works with each client to schedule appointments that fits best for that person's needs.
